Do you ever wonder why some people have the jobs they do? If behavior reveals attitude (and I think it does) then it would seem many people don’t care much for their jobs. And that’s too bad because we spend too much of our lives doing our job to not like what we do.

Brain science tells us it feels good to help others. It’s true! We are designed to be helpful. When we help others we are actually helping ourselves.

No matter how you feel about your job remember, it gives you the opportunity to help others. Pay attention to the positive aspects of your job and let them influence your actions. Your actions are what your customers experience and respond to. Friendly, kind and helpful actions produce a like response. And they make every job more fun for everyone.

Today, make a list of everything you like about your job. Write at least 10 things. Then keep that list handy where you can see it.
