Be interested in helping your customers
And here are some additional thoughts on this topic…
It’s easy for us to get distracted. We all have many things to accomplish in addition to helping customers. And we know if we don’t do them, no one else will!
But we need to stay focused. When we are helping our customers, that’s where 100% of our attention and energy should be. Our intent should be simply to help them get what they want (within our abilities and resources). One way to do this is to take an interest in our customers and their needs. Be sincerely interested in helping them. Make it your desire to help them accomplish what they want.
This week, think about what distracts you have that keep you from wanting to help customers. Then ask yourself how you can set those distractions aside.
