Give Your Customers a Great Experience

One of the best ways to keep your customers coming back and get more referrals is to give your customers a great experience. And that’s true even when your customers aren’t human.

When I watch this video, not only would I want our dog to be a “customer”, I want to go there too! If you like dogs you’ll love this video. It doesn’t tell you the experience this doggy daycare business provides. It shows you. And it does so brilliantly.

Customer service is more than a job title, a department or how to handle a complaint. Customer service means giving our customers what they want, plus a little more. It’s about giving them a positive and memorable experience in a way that works for your business. When you do that your customers will be more loyal.

Show your customers the wonderful experience they (or their pets) will have and you’ll have them lined up to do business with you.

Peachtree knows that customer service is cool

Customer service is the new marketing because now companies can no longer control what people are saying about them. Everyday, customers and prospects are ranting and raving about your company on social networking platforms like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Companies that don’t get customer service and don’t react to what customers are talking about are doomed to fail.

Focus on customer service in 2010 (finally?)

This may be it. This may be the year that it finally happens. 2010 may just be the year that companies start to focus on their customers and serving them well.

Now, I am cautiously optimistic about this focus on customer service, but let me tell you why I feel this way.

1. Brands are using a focus on customers as a competitive differentiator in their advertisements.
