Hi Melissa - sorry your experience at Subway was not what you wanted. While I think they do a good job overall, they do have some consistency issues. Hopefully if you try a different Subway location you might get a better experience.

Thanks for sharing your comments.

Subway in my town is greedy. It is overpriced and you have to pay extra for each veggie. I asked for tuna with extra tomatoes and no other veggie or dressing and they said no. Unless of course I wanted to pay extra. My one $5 sandwich was now $7 and I had to pay extra for one tomato. I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN.

i totally agree , the subway i usually go to , the employees are fantastic ! Always asking how my family are , usually throw in an extra cookie and genuinely enjoy their job, but today i went to a subway im not really familiar with and there was 1 employee . she served me (she was indian with a heavy accent so couldnt really understand what she was saying) i asked for a 6 inch italian herbs and cheese and shes says she 'can't do' i see what do you mean ? she replied with sorry we dont have any left, so whilst contemplating on going to the macdonalds next door she says to me ' i joke i joke i do have' , i thought that was rather ... unusual . followed her down the line , she had no compassion , throwing salads around and wasting about a handful of produce , keeping in mind that their work bay was a mess ! i get to the register she says to me, hold on im going to get a drink , proceeds to meet the other male employee half way through the door and pick her drink . I then payed and she with held my $6.00 change , saying 'thats it, no more' , i was confused and couldnt understand her and asked what she meant ? she repeated again , 'thats it , no more' , by that stage i was fed up with these silly games (i had had 3 exams that day and was looknig for a snack and to go home ) , i repeated 'what' more angrily . She again said 'i joke i joking with you' . I took my cnahge and waited for my smoothie . She blended it ( it was ready for me just needed to be poured) and conituned to go and serve the next customers , a group of three teenagers . The male employee finally speaks to me and asks me to sit down and he will bring it to me when its ready , i told him that it was fine i could wait , ( by this time i was 10 minutes behind to an appointment ) , FINALLY got meal and left .
This was not the kind of service i was used to , and i deem it not to be acceptable . I think from now on ill be sticking to my usual , friendly , speedy subway .

I had to chuckle when I read your post, as I had an equally abysmal experience at one Subway, only to be followed by a delightful experience at another. The first encounter involved me walking up to a Subway to find all three employees outside for a smoke break. When I opened the door to go in to the empty restaurant, one of the smokers asked me not to go inside because they weren't ready to go back to work yet. Unbelievable! A week later I was in a different subway and the young guy making the sandwiches was talkative and friendly....a total delight. It is ALL about Customer Service!
