Reward Yourself When You Deliver Amazing Service

Here is your Daily Dose of Amazing Service:

Reward yourself when you deliver Amazing Service.

And here are some additional thoughts on this topic…

One of the most effective ways to encourage a person to do something is to reward them when they do it. As humans, we love recognition. It helps affirm what we are doing is right. It gives us one more reason to continue.

But we don’t always get recognition from those around us. Not that we all want a parade with balloons and fire trucks. Often just a comment is enough. So we need to take matters into our own hands and recognize ourselves when we do great work for our customers. And it’s okay to acknowledge our own good work.

Today, take a moment to list at least three ways you can acknowledge and celebrate your good work. How can you reward yourself when you deliver Amazing Service to your customers?

Peachtree knows that customer service is cool

Customer service is the new marketing because now companies can no longer control what people are saying about them. Everyday, customers and prospects are ranting and raving about your company on social networking platforms like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Focus on customer service in 2010 (finally?)

This may be it. This may be the year that it finally happens. 2010 may just be the year that companies start to focus on their customers and serving them well.
